Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Parker Howard, 85, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Rev. Randy Burdeaux and Rev. Rick McPherson will be officiating. Interment to follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.<br />

Mrs. Howard was born July 31, 1924 in Tallulah, LA and passed away March 7, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and  was retired from St. Francis in the surgical supply department. Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her husband, Francis William “Hank” Howard; parents, Roy Parker and wife Sally Parker Wellerman, brother, Jerry Dawson Parker, grandson, John W. Dugger, Jr..<br />

She is survived by her 5 children; Mary Frances Dugger and husband John. Francis William “Buddy” Howard Jr., Steven “Steve”  Wayne Howard, Lee Roy Howard and wife Vickie, Beci McLemore and husband David; 2 sisters, Dhuanne Pritchard and Betty Parks and husband Bill; 3 grandchildren; Randall Troy Dugger, Susan Norris and husband Graham and Clint Thompson; 2 great-grandchildren, Rachel and Noland Norris.<br />

Pallbearers will be Gregory Pritchard, Geofrey Pritchard, Garry Pritchard, Gavin Pritchard, Rich Jacobs and Billy Parks.<br />

Honorary pallbearers will be Roy West Parker, Randall Troy Dugger, William Clinton Thompson, Graham Norris and Charles Pritchard.<br />

Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.<br />
