Obituary for Margaret DeLoach Clark
Funeral services for Margaret DeLoach Clark, 94, will be 10:00a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Daulton officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00p.m. at the Old Sarepta Church Cemetery in Sarepta, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
Mrs. Clark was born on May 18, 1915, in Sarepta to Dr. and Mrs. Charles T. DeLoach. She passed away on Friday, February 26 at her home in Ruston.
Mrs. Clark was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. A public school teacher for 31years, she retired from Webster Parish Schools in 1980. She was a longtime member and recognized intercessor for The Gospel, Inc. Ministry in Ruston. She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Jack Clark, four brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by her family Tom and Doris Clark; Mary and Hank Trepczyk; Thomas and Cynthia Clark and family, all of Tennessee; Michael and Ann Clark, Andy and Josh, of Monroe; Margaret and Robert Daulton; Jennifer and Jay Ham, Joseph and Joanna; Steven and Rebecca Daulton, Matthew, Joshua, and Hannah, all of Ruston; sister Doris Jean Sullivan of Benton, LA; and sisters-in-law Carolyn DeLoach and Nola DeLoach, both of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Clark, Michael Clark, Jay Ham, Jimmy Williams, Mark Coleman, and Rev. David Buckley. Junior pallbearers will be Joseph Ham and Benjamin Upshaw.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2010, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Memorials may be made to the Old Sarepta Church Cemetery Fund, 167 Rural Road, Sarepta, LA 71071 or to “Grandma’s House”, a program at The Gospel, Inc. Ministry that extends her life work.
